Does the bed have a smell when opened?
Like any new premium foam product (or a new car), there may be a slight "fresh foam" scent upon unboxing. This is normal and harmless. It will dissipate within 24-48 hours. We recommend letting the core breathe at least 2-4 hours before inserting it first into the inner fabric and then into the top cover.
Will the fabric pill or fade?
Our fabrics are woven (Jacquard), not printed. This means the pattern is integral to the structure of the fabric, making it highly resistant to fading. To prevent pilling, avoid tumble drying and wash on a delicate cycle to protect the natural fibers.
How do I wash the bolster/pillow top
The top cover and the inner fabric with hollow-fiber are fully removable and machine washable at 30°C. The interior foam core should not be washed in a machine to preserve their structure. If an accident happens, spot clean the core with mild soap and air dry.
Why is it more expensive than other beds?
Because it’s furniture, not a pillow. You are paying for European craftsmanship (sewn in Czech Republic), Italian textiles (not printed polyester) and a 3-layer Hybrid Mattress (HR Foam + Memory Foam + Pillow Top) also produced in Czech Republic. It’s built to last years, not months.
Is this bed chew-proof?
Let’s be honest: no fabric is invincible against a determined chewer. However, our Italian Gobelin and heavy-duty Jacquards are upholstery-grade. They are significantly tighter and tougher than standard "pet store" fleece or cotton. They are designed to withstand nesting, digging and daily wear, but they are not indestructible toys.
